CLAIMS MANAGEMENT & REPAIR PROCEDURE (Our Primary Focus)

It is a condition of this Warranty that the vehicle is returned to Albion Vehicle Sales for all examinations and repairs.

1. How to Make a Claim

  1. Report the Defect: In the event of an occurrence giving rise to a claim, the defect must be reported to Albion Vehicle Sales as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days of the occurrence.

  2. Arrange Examination: Contact Albion to arrange a mutually convenient time for the vehicle to be examined.

  3. Vehicle Return (Customer Responsibility): The vehicle must be returned by the customer to: Albion Vehicle Sales, 10 Victoria Gardens, Burgess Hill, RH15 9NB.

It is the customer's requirement to return the vehicle to us. If the vehicle needs transporting, it is the customer’s requirement to arrange and pay for this. This is why we recommend taking out an AA or RAC type breakdown policy to cover the expenses of vehicle recovery.

  1. Authorisation: All repairs must be authorised by Albion Vehicle Sales before any work is carried out. Unauthorised work is not covered by this Warranty.

2. Albion's Repair Process

  • Albion will confirm if the fault(s) are covered by your Warranty and arrange the repair appointment.

  • As we are mechanics, our repair rates on Warranty work for our sold vehicles are heavily discounted to help our clients.

  • Third-Party Repairs (Exception Only): While we strongly prefer to carry out repairs ourselves, Albion may, in extreme circumstances (e.g., considerable distance to our workshop), agree to the use of a third-party repairer.

    • Where agreed, payment will only be made on production of the relevant receipted quotation. This needs to be authorised by Albion Vehicle Sales BEFORE any repairs are made. Failure to adhere to this term may render your claim invalid.

    • Where repairs are not carried out by Albion or an authorised repairer, it remains the customer’s responsibility to pay for all work carried out and then submit the claim to Albion for authorisation and reimbursement up to the agreed limit.
